As part of their educational visit to the United States, participants of the Ukraine Invention Convention had the honor of meeting Governor Ned Lamont at the Connecticut State Capitol.

The delegation shared the mission of Ukraine Invention Convention and introduced the innovative projects developed by students from the Donetsk region. The meeting highlighted the role of STEM education in empowering young people and strengthening international cooperation.

Representatives of Next Minds, a representative of Trinity College, and a representative of Universal Aid for Ukraine (UAI) also joined the meeting, reflecting the collaborative effort behind the educational exchange.

A Shared Vision for the Future

Although brief, the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the importance of supporting young innovators, expanding educational partnerships, and strengthening the longstanding friendship between Connecticut and Ukraine.

Governor Lamont welcomed the delegation and expressed his appreciation for the resilience, determination, and talent demonstrated by Ukrainian students despite the challenges they continue to face.
