Dogs hear in a much wider frequency range than humans, and the sound of a rocket or artillery strike causes them not just fear, but a real acoustic concussion and severe chronic stress. During air raid alerts and shelling, dogs — both pets and working dogs, including search-and-rescue and demining dogs — suffer sound trauma and panic reactions more often than the people beside them.This invention is a combined textile protection kit for dogs, consisting of two parts that can be used together or separately: a noise-protective hood covering the ears, and a weighted calming vest based on the principle of compression therapy (an analogue of the "thundershirt"). Together they reduce both the acoustic load and the level of anxiety in the animal during shelling.

Design: weighted calming vestThe vest works on the principle of gentle, even pressure on the body (compression therapy), which has been proven to reduce cortisol release and calm the nervous system.Structure: 1. Base - elastic fabric (thin-profile neoprene, 2-3 millimeters, or dense lycra knit) that hugs the body from the withers to the belly.2. Tightening system - wide velcro straps that cross over on the back and chest, allowing for adjustment.3. Internal pocket inserts - flat weights (bags with granulate or soft plates) sewn in symmetrically on the sides of the chest, where the calming effect is most pronounced.4. Reflective trim around the perimeter - an additional safety feature during evacuation in the dark. Fastening - with velcro and fasteces along the back and under the belly, so the vest can be put on in 10-15 seconds even on a panicking dog.MaterialDense nylon or 420D Oxford fabric - the outer layer of the hood, 0.3 sq. m.Acoustic polyurethane foam 5-8 mm or dense synthetic padding - sound insulation for the ear capsules, 0.1 sq. m.Fleece or cotton knit - inner layer of the hood, 0.3 sq. m.Neoprene 2-3 mm or lycra knit - base of the vest, 0.5 sq. m.Weighted filler (plastic granulate or fine polymer shot) - 150-300 g depending on the dog's size.Velcro tape (hook-and-loop) 2.5 and 5 cm wide - about 2 m.Elastic band 2 cm wide - 0.5 m. Fasteces (plastic clips) - 2-4 pieces.Reflective trim or tape - 1.5 m.
