58 inventors to take part in the selection for the UKRIC Inventors Cup 2026/7

Ukrainian schoolchildren from frontline regions, the city of Kyiv and Kyiv region submitted their ideas to turn them into inventions and find solutions to pressing problems.

This season, 242 inventors registered on the Ukraine Invention Convention (UKRIC) platform. In total, participants submitted 77 inventions, 58 of which will take part in the competition.

This reflects the interest of Ukrainian youth in invention, technology, and the search for new solutions. Behind every idea lies the desire to change the world around them, and behind every invention lies the opportunity to find an answer to a real problem.

What are the next stages of the UKRIC Inventors Cup 2026/7?

After registration closes, participants will go through expert selection, training, work on their inventions, and the final stage of the competition.

From idea to real invention

UKRIC is developing a culture of youth invention in Ukraine and helps schoolchildren go through the entire path from identifying a problem to creating a prototype and presenting their own development.

Participation in Ukraine Invention Convention competitions and programs is an opportunity to develop engineering and critical thinking, gain practical skills, work on one’s own idea, and present an invention to a wide audience.

UKRIC’s previous experience has already demonstrated the potential of Ukrainian schoolchildren. During the pilot project, which covered only educational institutions of Donetsk region in 2025–2026, the winners presented their inventions at Dassault Systèmes in the USA and won three of the five global awards contested by about 50,000 young inventors from around the world.

Thank you to everyone who joined the UKRIC Inventors Cup 2026/7! Ahead lies training, new discoveries, and work on inventions that can change the world.
